Automation Software Designer

The position
As Automation Software Designer you will play a crucial role in projects with our global customers in the wind industry. You will be the customer’s closest sparring partner, ensuring a high technical standard that aligns with the projects, while also overseeing and coordinating the efforts in project implementation.
Your primary work areas will be:
- Act as technical key person in projects on the software side.
- Prepare Functional specifications, Design specifications, and Storyboards.
- Programming and setup of PLC, Safety, HMI, Servo and work with Structured Text, Ladder, Graph, Function Blocks.
- Reporting / follow-up on projects.
- Communicate internally with colleagues and externally with customers.
- Documentation in projects and ensure product maturity on software.
- Do version management and work in systems for structured task solving.
The position refers to Automation Manager in ENABL A/S and has a permanent base in our beautiful house of knowledge in Hedensted. As part of the position, some travel activity in connection with projects must be expected.
rofessional qualifications
We imagine that you have a background as a marine engineer or automation technologist. Throughout your career, you have built competences within PLC/HMI and preferably Servo programming and have experience with Siemens S7/TIA. You have at least 4-5 years of experience in automation and are used to working on projects. Safety programming is included on the machines, so flair for this is an advantage.
As a person, you are organized, reliable, can work on your own but also enjoy teamwork and want to be a part of a supportive team. Besides having a sound business understanding, you work in a structured way and can prioritize your time in a variable environment. The position is versatile, requiring a keen eye for detail and a sense of professional pride.
In addition, you are fluent in English writing and speaking.
